Cembre Cable Lugs, Copper Tube Crimp Terminals and Connectors, A-M

Cembre Cable Lugs in the A-M series are manufactured from electrolytic copper tube and electrolytically tinplated to avoid oxidation. These cable lugs form an important part of Cembre crimping systems for LV Cables up to 11kV.

The Cable Lugs have been manufactured to include Copper Tube dimensions that are designed to acheve optimum electrical conductivity and mechanical strength when the cable lugs are subjected to vibration and pull out forces.

Cembre Cable Crimping lugs are annealed to guarantee optimum ductility which is an absolute necessity for connectors which will have to withstand the severe deformation arising when compressed and any bending of the palm during installation.

When installing cable lugs in environments subject to vibration, the lugs still have to provide a reliable connection. The annealing process of the Cembre lug plays a vital role in avoiding cracking or breaks between the barrel and palm.

The Cembre A-M Cable Crimping Lugs feature an inspection hole which facilitates full insertion of the conductor.

Cembre have designed the barrel length of these cable lugs to allow easy and accurate positioning of the dies during the crimping operation.
