These 3M Scotchcast resin joint kits are designed for jointing LV Unrmoured Cables in Zone 1 and Zone 2 Hazardous Areas.

3M Hazardous Area Resin Joints are suitable for use with either compression or mechanical connectors. The joint body and also the high quality resin is flame retardant, halogen free and virtually unaffected when immersed in chemical solvents or hydro-carbons. They can be used for indoor and outdoor, underground and submerged applications.

3M Scotchcast Resin Joints for Hazardous Areas 92-NA-x-U Series Features

Supplied with Scotchcast 1402FR Flame Retardant, Hydrocarbon Resistant, Halogen Free Jointing Resin in transparent two part bags with the fully integrated Closed Mix system

Scotchcast Resin Bag also incorporates an opener for easy opening and pouring.

Two part Mould Body with Snap Fit joint closure system for fast and simple handling.

Features a transparent flame retardant joint mould body for visibility and control of connector distances.

This Scotchcast Hazardous Area Resin Joint is Flame retardant according to UL94 V0.

The cable joint is chemical resistant, especially against hydro carbons.

Includes a spacer webbing to help the jointer to ensure the distance between cable connectors and the joint mould body.

A closure cap prevents any pollution.
