CMP Cable Glands - E1W SOLO LSF Gland for Single Wire Armour (SWA) Cables

CMP E1W LSF Brass Cable Glands

CMP E1W LSF Cable Glands in the CMP E1W SOLO Range are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and provide an environmental seal on the inner bedding of the cable and on the outer sheath of the cable. The CMP E1W LSF Brass Cable Gland provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour wire termination.

CMP E1W LSF SOLO Cable Glands - Features

CMP E1W LSF Cable Glands feature a detachable armour cone and AnyWay universal clamping ring arrangement allowing easy disconnection of the cable from the equipment, for maintenance and change out purposes etc. In conditions where the termination is to be conducted in confined spaces or in areas of restricted access, this feature also facilitates remote make off procedures. Maximum control over the pressure applied to the cable inner bedding is achieved through separate tightening actions for the inner displacement seal and the armour termination.

CMP E1W LSF Cable Glands are also available in Aluminium, Electroless Nickel Plated Brass, and Stainless Steel upon request.

All CMP E1W LSF Cable Glands are EMC Tested.

CMP E1W LSF cable glands are designed and tested to BS 6121:Part 1:1989, and meet or surpass the requirements of EN 50262 :1999. The Cable Glands are manufactured from CuZn39Pb3 (CW614N) grade Brass to EN12168.

In addition we can supply and alternative armour clamping range from CMP that is available for non-standard armour sizes. Other thread forms are also available on request to suit specific installation requirements.

The CMP E1W LSF cable gland kit includes CMP SOLO LSF (Low Smoke & Fume) Halogen Free Shrouds and Seals.

The CMP E1W Solo LSF Cable Gland features a colour coded yellow ferrule for easy LSF identification on site or in stores.
